About Ishware:

Howdy!

Back in 1987, when I was twelve, I started writing some really basic BASIC programs. Well, I wouldn't so much call them programs as I would "blocks of executable code", since they weren't very useful. Let's just say-- I was not a childhood programming genius...

I was, however, very interested in certain aspects of the whole thing, including picking a name to operate under.

Before I changed my name due to marriage (because it sounds weird for a guy to speak of his 'maiden name'), I took my initials (ISH) and added the then-rampant -ware suffix to create Ishware.

Believe me... that's the most exciting part of the story...

The only notable project that Ishware has released was a set of animated cursors for Windows, in 1996. You can Google for "Ishware cool brown cursors" to see some proof that I do go at least that far back...

I'm reviving my Ishware moniker to host some scripts and things that I want to keep seperate from my Eiland-Hall.com site (personal and family stuff), and seperate from my NullusAnxietas.net (Internet Solutions) and wife's NullusAnxietas.com (Soaps et all) businesses...

But enough drivel about me! Welcome to the site, and I hope you enjoy what you find here...
